This was a different and intimate event. Lunch for all the Norwegian magazine press at Nina Jarebrinks home at Bislet. With all her fashion friends showing of the key pieces for next summer. It was all about the eighties, and sexy strong women, glamor, sophisticated and sexy - something that has become Nina Jarebrinks signature style.

Hairstylist Jannicke Talseth @Thereseshate 35 did the hair for the show, and Linda Wickmann did the makeup. Here we are in the salon getting ready for the press lunch later. Usually we are all more behind the scenes-so it was both wierd and fun to be all dolled up in true fashion show style!

When I saw these pictures, I so regret that I missed out on the Stine Goya show in Copenhagen last week-what a collection of beautiful clothes-I just want the trousers, the jackets, the tops and dresses-who said model-turned-stylist-turned designer never works? This is how to do it: Feminine and quirky- stylish, cool and sophisticated! I cant wait to borrow everything for my fashionshoots this fall (to create next years summer-looks). Looking forward to great sparkling summertimes already!!

" Its not classy to take photographs during the show " my friend received a text from backstage, after I ask if it was true that no photographers were allowed inside the gallery that showed Batlag & Selvig last night. So this time I didnt pick up my camera-even if my view was so much better than yesterday...

If all the shows at fashionweek could be like this one-then we are on to something! Perfect crowd & venue, no celebs in sight!, gorgeous models/makeup & hair, perfect music, and exclusive, inspiring and beautiful handcrafted designs. This looks very interesting, and I think Batlag & Selvig will become hot-sh*t sometime very soon!!
