Girl in a windowsill

With my new gorgeous amazing fourre cape.

When we first arrived at the station Porte de Clignancourt, the last stop on line4, we were greeted by what we thought was the flea/antique market-and were mildly shocked. All the cheap manky stuff, and fake clothes and plastic, made at least me cling ekstra on to my designerhandbag, but following our instinct-that this couldnt be it, and at least not the most talked about Sunday market in Paris we kept on walking, and I am glad we did. Because further on-it was bye bye ugly cheap stuff-and hello vintage heaven.

Here I am at the beautiful antique market at Saint Ouen in Paris, and at this shop-I bought the most fantastic fur cape ever. Looking forward to spend some great nights in that hot piece.

If I had this painting in my house-I think people would be distracted at times.

Now I know what to wear at my birthday-bash! And the wings has to go with it, to make the outfit complete :)

Shopping at Marc by Marc Jacobs in Paris

I had to try on these to tops at MbyMJ, loved them both. First I bought the fishnet one-but then returned it, and got the soft pink with black collar instead. Since I obviously was in the pink mood-I also got myself a new pair of Converse in soft pink.

From Catwalk to closet at the Balmain Boutique

I went to Balmain and tried on this black dress at 10 000euro and it looked and felt very nice, the trousers were only 6000euro. Not something I would get anytime soon-but if I could-I think I would!

Givenchy Party at Regine`s

I met this girl-on the train to Paris (Marchi Marchell, photographer), both of us on a budget-no cabs for us. And she offered me one of her tickets-since she mistakenly bought two-and the we started chatting our way into Paris. She happened to be in town for the Givenchy show-because she is best friends with Ricci (the designer Riccardo Tisci). So thats how me and Isabel ended up on one of the coolest parties ever-perfect when in Paris for fashionweek!

It wasn’t easy finding Riccardo Tisci at his party at Régine’s on Thursday night. First you had to get into the club—no easy feat, considering that there were more French hipsters than you could shake a baguette at outside, all moaning to the doorman. Once inside the club, you would have had to work your way around the crush of people at the bar, which in this case was a gaggle of editors making googoo eyes at the Japanese soccer star Hide. Past that, on the way to the dance floor, there remained the task of navigating around Mary-Kate Olsen’s crew, which had merged with the Euro social crew of Tatiana Santo Domingo, Camilla Al Fayed, and Fiona Scarry. Once you had attained the far side of the dance area, your quarry was finally in sight, sitting at a table with a few well-deserved bottles of Champagne, behind Astrid Muñoz and flanked by Natalia Vodianova and Mariacarla Boscono. “I’m having fun now,” Tisci said. “At last.” Everyone was having fun—Boscono and Vodianova even had an impromptu dance-off, during which the Russian beauty lost the gold bow that topped her black Givenchy look. “Ah, don’t worry,” the designer begged her as she searched the dance floor for the renegade accessory. “I think I can find you another one.”

Victor & Rolf ss2009

This season Victor & Rolf had no invitations, no seating charts, no traffic jams, no endless wait. Instead they made a ten minute video-installation-with Shalom Harlow as the only model-featured on a virtual runway, with only 21 looks-and we were there at the presentation.

We viewed the video at Viktor & Rolfs PR Karla Ottos showroom in Paris, and afterwords we had a
peak through the rails at the whole collection-with its bright and sparkling accessorize.
This collection was inspired by computer games and the virtual world, with Swarowski crystal-banded dresses accented with candy-striped rills of organza. They were also experimenting with volume with their black coat and dresses-and many looks where showed with futuristic tights in back and white. The more simple wearable pieces in dusty colours were beautiful-but the mulitcolored stripy blouses and dresses were to much.
